Meet Prince
You've probably already noticed that Prince is one good-looking boy. This handsome chocolate-point Siamese mix has the bluest eyes you've ever seen! As soon as he arrived at Tenth Life, Prince won hearts with his beautiful eyes and his sweet temperament. He can be a very playful boy and enjoys chasing string toys and climbing on cat trees. But he will also appreciate his quiet time and lounging around with you. Prince gives great head bonks and will seek out and give affection. He's a very loving boy.
Prince has a mild heart condition which is under control with medication. He has also tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). Most FIV-positive cats live many years without any visible effects from the virus (some never show signs), so an FIV-positive diagnosis is not cause for alarm. It simply means that the cat's immune system can be more susceptible to certain infections. As long as they live in an indoor stress-free environment, FIV-positive cats can live a normal healthy lifespan.
It is possible for cats who have tested positive for FIV to live with FIV-negative cats without a problem, as long as the cats get along and don't engage in serious fighting (deep bites). Prince would probably do well with another friendly, nonaggressive cat, but he would also be happy to have you all to himself!
