Hardy Labrador Retriever Mix Manhattan, KS

FOSTER UPDATE 8-15-19:
Hardy is a 3 year old, 50# lab mix. Up to date on all his shots and has been fixed. Hardy loves to play and explore. Needs space to run or someone who is willing to be active with him. He doesn't care for his kennel, feels he is missing out on something. He gets along great with kids and his foster brother who is a lab but can get anxious when around new dogs or in new places. Once he is familiar he calms down. As much as he loves to play he equally loves to cuddle and be loved on. Hardy really is a sweetheart and is looking for his furever home!

FOSTER UPDATE 11-18-19:
Hardy is a 4 year old dark chocolate lab mix. He has unique sable coloring that really makes him stand out! Hardy is fun and playful, likes to play fetch, and needs a fenced in backyard where he can stretch his legs. He enjoys long snuggles on the couch and laying around with his foster fur siblings. He is good with dogs both big and small, but he needs proper introductions to new dogs. He's having a difficult time getting along with the cat in his foster home, so we recommend a cat free home. Hardy has been around children and he loves the attention that they give him. However, he still has a tendency to jump on people when he first sees them. He will do great in a home with other dogs, or he will thrive as the only pet. Hardy is a fast learner and picks up new skills quickly. He does need structure and routine, though. He will be perfect for a family who can give him plenty of exercise, and a reliable schedule. Please consider giving this awesome dog a forever home! He is the most loyal dog you can ask for!
