Mobie Basset Hound & Black Mouth Cur Mix Argyle, NY

Precious doesn't even begin to describe it! The short little legs, big paws, expressive face... it just doesn't get any better! Sweet little Mobie was born to one of our absolute favorite momma dogs ever! Mom has already scored a home. Now, it's time for her babies to find forever families of their own. Mobie's mom goes down in history as one of the dogs we guessed and speculated about the most in terms of breed. Lots of fun discussions about what her mix might be. She was on short legs, like a Basset or Corgi, with a long coat, like a Spaniel, but with a body shaped like a Lab or Pointer and had a cowlick of fur on her like a Ridgeback! If you are saying "What on earth"!?! Trust us, we did too! Well, her babies follow suit. Every puppy is so different, and Mobie happens to be the only girl with her proportions and markings. So, the debate continues! Mobie's black muzzle lead us to add Black Cur to the list of possibilities!

Although we can't say for sure just what the genetic make-up is, the personality on each and every one is so positively sweet. Mobie has a beautiful fawn color with the cutest black dots above her eyes. We suspect she will be short in stature, but solid in adulthood, perhaps in the range of 35-40 pounds? At about 15 weeks old, she is catching on quickly to her house-training, is great with other dogs and is going to make a lucky adopter very happy! Mobie arrives to NY on 5/4 and is now accepting applications for adoption. We suspect she won't be long in finding her forever, so please, take a moment to get that application in!

Mobie is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue centered in Bonifay and Panama City, FL (NY Lic #1054). She is a spay it forward adoption, meaning part of her adoption donation goes directly back to our spay and neuter services. The $425 adoption fee includes the transportation that brought her from FL to NY, spay surgery, vaccines, de-worm, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention.
