Josephine Pit Bull Terrier Mix Billings, MT

Josephine is approximately 2 years old and is a pit mix. She is looking for her human hero to bond with and is ready to set off on adventures. She is as beautiful in spirit, as she is in looks, with an infamous pitty smile and goofy personality. She loves cuddling on the couch, car rides to Petsmart and any kind of treat! Zany with her toys, she will provide miles of zoomies. She can play very rough with other dogs. We think she'd do well in a home with another dog that like rough housing or as an only dog.

Although she has done well with the cat in her foster home, she may not do well with all cats. Its hard to say at this point other than the experience we've seen with her. She likes to play with them and the cat in her foster home is cool with that. Cats that run could be a problem though because she does have a pray drive to chase. We don't think she is a good fit for life on a farm that has small animals either such as chickens or ducks. She has never hurt any small animals that we are aware of but there is a concern that given the chance she might not know to stop.

She is housebroken, loves to hog the bed (careful-she snores!) and lives to be attentive towards her person. Regarding other dogs, she has always been the submissive one of the pack as she has shown when being challenged by alpha dogs.

Her adoption fee is $100.00. She is spayed and is up to date on vaccinations including rabies. You must have a fenced yard or live in the country with safe acreage for exercise in order to adopt from us. We require that our dogs be allowed in their family home and be allowed to sleep inside at night. An adoption contract is completed and signed at the time of adoption.
