Purrfect Jiggy Stardust MC Maine Coon New York, NY

What a face! Jiggy Stardust is our newest Boroughbred Maine Coon. He is initially shy so will need a patient purrson and not too much coming and going in the home and thennnnnnnn he is a total head butter and snuggler! We are just finding out now if he likes other cats so please stay tuned. He's 5y and 11lbs, -- a purrfect age and weight! Applications now being accepted!
Jiggy is the best cat we have ever fostered. Everyone loves him. Jiggy came to us from a hoarder: sick, thin and recently neutered. His health is now bounced back and despite everything he has a purrfect purrsonality. He loves to headbutt, air knead, snuggle, sit on laps, and play. He is interested in other cats and likes to be around them without bothering them. He loves people, sleeps with his foster parents at times without smothering. Jiggy is friendly and non aggressive. He is pretty to look at with stunning eyes and a fluffy tail. He eats whatever is put in front of him, and given a choice would rather snuggle than have a meal. Every person who has met him preferred him over all our other cats! This boy is a gem and must go to a loving family who will appreciate him and provide him with a friendly cat friend or two.

All our cats are in the NY area and can be adopted out of state. We do like to meet you so plan on picking up; if flying, in cabin only; in some cases we will help with transport.

Please note: kittens MUST be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we are happy to recommend cats who would do best as solos. Cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv tested, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.

Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, you can perhaps foster, volunteer, and of course, you can always donate!
