Meet Matty
Hello, my name is Matty. I am a 15-year-old male domesticated long hair Mainecoon mixed breed. I am current on vaccinations - rabies, distemper, dewormed, and neutered.
HHP became my temporary home in hopes of finding a forever home. I originally came in as a stray but my friends here at HHP did find my previous owner but unfortunately they couldn't keep me anymore. I have had a VERY HARD life according to my previous owners. I have been shot by a BB gun a few times & even ran over! My poor body does show the scars from this life for example I am missing a couple of toes on one of my back paws but you'd never know it with how I can get around. You would NEVER know how hard my life has been by how I act! I'm very sweet, affectionate, gentle & can't get enough attention or pettings! I enjoy the company of most animals and humans alike. I maybe 15 years old but I am very healthy. I LOVE to just hang out around the front of the building & greet people who come in & see if they will pet me I hope! I'm looking for a home to retire in that I can just hang out with a nice warm & soft bed & get LOTS of attention & pettings! My friends at HHP tell me not to tell anyone this but they tell me I'm one of all of the staffs favorite pets here! Please come by and see if I’m a match for your family.
Adoption Fee $50.00
This tax-deductible fee pays for the vaccinations, spay/neuter, boarding, food, and overall care of all the animals at the shelter.
*If you're unable to adopt, please consider donating or volunteering your time to these deserving animals currently living at HHP. Their needs require care and love on a daily basis, which adds up monetarily. Our shelter is funded by donations and adoption fees alone. The need is great within our community and your support matters.
If you have questions, please stop by any day between 1pm-6pm. Contact our office at (406) 896-1700 or Angie (406) 860-8735.
