CHEYENNE Cattle Dog Lincoln, NE

Cheyenne is a little gal that loves to play with other dogs. She likes attention, and enjoys being around people. She doesn't bark at visitors, and greets them at the door wagging her tail. She sleeps in her kennel all night without having any accidents and never made a fuss. She'll even go into her kennel during the day for a little peace and quiet time. She loves to wander in a fenced in yard, chasing all the birds and will come to you when called. She really just wants to please everyone. She is quick when running around playing with the other dogs. She has not had an opportunity to be around young children, but is not aggressive when new people come around, simply timid. She is sure to be your true companion given the opportunity.

Cheyenne is a Red Heeler who weighs 37 lbs and was born approximately 10-15-17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. PLEASE be sure to answer all questions completely or it will delay processing, be sure to include vet phone#. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
