He has such a zest for life and will make every day brighter. Rocky loves the company of other dogs and thoroughly enjoys a great game of chase or wrestling match. He is a hoot to watch as he tries to run like the wind on his short Basset Hound legs. He would thrive in a home where there is another canine for companionship and a fenced yard to spend lots of time sniffing, frolicking and chasing squirrels. Rocky has made himself the life of every party (or every room he enters), easily makes the best of friends with everyone he meets, and would love to make your life complete!

Rocky is a Golden Retriever/Basset Hound mix (our best guess of breeds), weighs 30 lbs and was born approximately 10-15-18. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
