When we rescued Sabrina, we thought she might be a simple TNR case, trap, neuter, return her to her colony, but her foster mom saw something in her and really had faith that she could be a loving family pet.

She worked with her everyday, gained her trust and Sabrina made great strides! Each day becoming more comfortable with people and then tragedy struck. Somehow, overnight, in her foster room, Sabrina broke her leg! Her foster mom couldn’t believe what she walked into that morning, what could have happened? She was rushed off the the vet!

So this little girl, who was learning to love now was getting X-rays, examined by strangers, and in pain. Quite the set back. The Doctor felt since the break was in such a terrible spot, it would be best to allow it to heal on its own, and it did!

Her foster mom has worked so hard with her to nurse her back to health and make her trust once again. She’s now ready to to be adopted! She’s still a little shy and would do best in a quiet home where she’ll feel safe, but she’ll bond and fall in love with her care giver!
