Meet Monty

Monty (aka Henry) originally came Kindred Kitties as kittens with his siblings. They were so little and scared--Henry took a little longer then his siblings to trust his foster mom, but when he did he let me hold and play with him and became a friendly, playful guy. He was adopted when he was a "teen" but after about a year in his home, he was surrendered back to Kindred Kitties. He is now 2 years old. He was surrendered back to us because his energy was too much for the two senior kitties in the home. Now that he's back, his foster mom says he is still playful, he loves his Da Bird toy and I see him playfully chasing my cats and being playfully chased by my cats. That didn't happen overnight, it took slow intros and a few escapes from his room that made it easy to meet the other cats. But there are times that he wants "Henry Time" and I can find him in his room in his bed or in the windowsill watching the world.

We are hoping to find someone who will see him for who he is and love him for him, not what they want him to be. He would do ok as an only cat but would also do ok in a home with younger cats who would tolerate his energy and a patient adopter who would do a slow introduction. He would love all the attention by his new peeps. He is very easy going with his foster mom, letting her smoother him with kisses, touch and hold his paws and he just watches her clip his claws. Like it's not even a problem, he's like "whatever girl." He even let's her snuggle with him in bed, but when he has enough he walks to the end of the bed to sleep. Uses a scratching post. Lived in a house with young kids previously and was tolerant of them. Monty is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

This kitty is in a foster home. If you would like to meet him/her please fill out an application for adoption which can be found on our website: www.kindredkitties.org under the "Adopt" tab. An application must be on file before we will arrange for a meeting with kitties in foster.

All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on age appropriate vaccines PRIOR to adoption. Adoption fees for our kittens 9 weeks to 1 year are $100 for one kitten ($160 for two). Adoption fees for adults (over a year) are $60 or $100 for two. Information about what is included in adoption, our adoption process, and FAQs can also be found on our website -- www.kindredkitties.org Thank you for considering a Kindred Kitty.
