Avery -adoption pending Old English Sheepdog Norwalk, CT

Avery urgently needs a new home as she was attacked by an autistic son in her current home. She is an Old English Sheepdog and is about 5 years old. She is house and leash trained. Overall, she does well on a leash. That said, if she gets excited, she will pull a bit. She is not destructive to the home, but does love her toys. She does not need to be crated, and she is not possessive. She is calm, friendly, energetic, friendly to family and friends, likes to talk, and is very affectionate. She is fine with cats and rabbits, but can be selective with some dogs. She will bark at strangers, but with her tail wagging and welcoming.

She has a condition called diabetes insipidus which is NOT like regular diabetes. It’s treated with daily eye drops which we ordered called Desmopresion 0.01 percent drops from the pharmacy.

The total adoption fee of $500 and includes spay, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration.
