Meet Sansa

If names has definitions, Sansa would SURELY mean fabulous, adorable, irresistible, teeth and soaking wet! Before you think we are crazy, please let us explain. Sansa is a Rottweiler primarily but we suspect she has something else mixed in, perhaps a bit o shepherd because of her almost fluffy coat and a tail that is totally a crowning glory. She is about a year old and weighs about 70 lbs full grown. The first few words are self explanatory as this young lady is nothing but fabulous on a daily basis. She is kind and tolerant of all other dogs, bringing a neutral energy to her play groups that makes her a friend and easy going companion to every dog she meets. Her manners are equally fabulous, keeping her crate clean and knowing how to be a young lady. Sansa has a blow you away under bite that allows for glimpses of her bottom teeth hanging out from those lips are are ridiculously adorable. She dont need to tooth fixing! We adore her just the way she is and so will you. Sansa might not have had a lot of exposure to worldly things yet and can be hesitant and unsure of unfamiliar things, but warms quickly and responds wonderfully to reinforcement and encouragement. Put your mops in the house on warning, Sansa can play and mean game of chase the mop which will make house cleaning infinitely more fun than it ever was. Finally, no, Sansa is not wet all of the time, but she LOVES a swimming pool and we love watching her in one. Sansa is totally a water dog who likes to float about and will seal your deal of adoration when you see her sloshing the water around in her mouth, under bite and all, just playing and enjoying being her sweet self. We ADORE her but look forward to letting her move on with her fun filled life with truly deserving people who will hit the jackpot!

Weekend host update: "She was a pleasure to have this weekend. If her adorable underbite doesn't win you over, her sweet disposition will. It took about two hours to earn her trust, but once I did she stuck by my side and bonded so well the entire weekend. She's a little skittish at first of new things, but with positive reinforcement she always works through that! All she wants is love and affection."

An Adoption Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes.

If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit https://savinggracenc.org/giving/

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
