PATCHES Beagle Mix Lincoln, NE

Patches is a sweet dog who has finished up her role as a momma to TEN puppies. Part of her momma role has likely meant she is wary of new people, but she has warmed up to her fosters. She is house trained. Most of mom life has been in a gazebo or in a “puppy room” at night or when her fosters are away. She likely would be fine in left to roam as when the door was left open and she had free reign of the house there were no troubles. Patches in in a home with other dogs varying from itty bitty to medium sized. Aside from a few protective momma moments, she gets along well with them and enjoys having dogs to play with. Due to mom duty, her leash skills have not been explored so we would prefer she go to a home where she can run & play freely in a fenced yard. Little children may frighten her, so a home with quieter adults would be ideal for her.

Patches is a Beagle/mix, weighs 26 lbs and was born approximately 1-23-17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
