Hi, I'm Betty Boop, a sweet, energetic, fun, silly girl who wants to be the center of attention of my family. My puppies and I were pulled from a high-volume shelter and the pups were all very lucky to get a second chance at a forever home. Since the pups have been adopted, it is now my turn. I am presently in a foster home with other small dogs and we all get along famously. I love having playmates! And sometimes we sleep together too. My foster home also has cats who are perfectly happy having me living with them. I'm good with kids, but I am playful, so I may overwhelm a small child with my quickness. But I would be a perfect playmate for a child who is at least 5 years old. My favorite pastime is playing with toys. I've been crated for short periods and only sang an abbreviated version of the lonesome dog crate blues before I settled in for the night. I have proven myself trust worthy, so I now have free roam of the house during the day and night. I've had experience using a doggie door to go outside to potty but I will whine to go out or put my paw on your arm if the door is blocked. I love to chew on bully sticks, cheese sticks, dried cod skin and duck jerky, etc. I might be a little shy for a couple of hours when I first meet new people, but after that, I become totally devoted. My dream family will want to make me a big part of their lives, taking me on walks and playing with me in the back yard. Betty Boop is online only. Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for this dog is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
