Gypsy in Ohio Bouvier des Flandres Alachua, GA

FOSTERED IN CLEVELAND, OH. My name is Gypsy and my name means traveler; I am on a journey to find the perfect home! I am a striking girl with typical Bouvier charm, cropped ears and a docked tail. I am five years old, the perfect age! I have had a rough road in my travels and had been abandoned and fed junk food by my first owner. Through no fault of my own I grew very fat and had a horrible skin condition. I was very lucky because I was rescued by a lovely lady with a big heart! She got me healthy and happy and fit and trim and I had a nice home and fenced in yard. Due to life-changing circumstances, she has to relocate and I am not able to travel with her. I was her first Bouvier so I taught her how loving a Bouvier can be and how very protective I am. As all travelers do, I carry baggage from my past... it is important that you know all about me. Like many Bouviers, I have a *very* high prey drive. This means absolutely no other small animals in my adoptive home. Also, in the past I had a bad experience with other dogs so I must be the only dog in my new home. I am very strong and if I see any other animals on our walk, be prepared. Training me to accept a head halter like a Gentle Leader is probably a good idea. I require a Bouvier savvy home - absolutely no beginners for me! I also need a fenced-in yard to run and play in, but I am happiest inside snuggling next to my person.. I am loyal and loving and want nothing more than to protect you from cats and squirrels and lizards and anything else that moves! I am already spayed, and current on vaccinations.
