This is young Bailey! He was born on May 15, 2018 - so he's about to celebrate his first birthday. Bailey is a gorgeous adolescent male collie who is looking for love and adventure. His perfect new home will include a fenced-in yard, a friendly adult dog to play with and learn from, and a person or family who enjoys spending time outside with their dogs. At ten months old, Bailey is full of curiosity about the world, and he would benefit from activities such as neighborhood group walks, family hikes, group training classes and playtimes with other young active dogs. He is not going to be happy about being left at home alone all day while everybody goes to work, so if that is your situation, you would need to sign him up for some doggie daycare, where he can run around to his heart's content.

Bailey crates very nicely and uses his crate to get his beauty sleep in between outings. He is still on the lean side, but he has a good appetite and is putting on weight nicely. He is very friendly with new people and new dogs, and has been learning not to jump up on folks when he greets them. He needs more practice with his leash-walking skills because walks didn't exist in his prior life, but he is so enthusiastic about seeing the world, that he has come a long way in a short time. If you are looking for a dog who will eagerly join you for lots of adventures, then Bailey may be the right guy for you.
