WILBUR Cattle Dog Lincoln, NE

Wilbur is a sweet & handsome Red Heeler who is 50lbs of pure love! He is house and kennel trained, good with other dogs and walks energetically on a leash. He is outgoing, loves people and any kind of attention. Wilbur is a very smart boy and knows sit, shake, and is a quick learner of new commands. He has not been introduced to cats while in our care but we can't imagine he would ever want to harm anyone or anything, he is much too sweet. This guy loves to love and snuggle! He would make a great addition to any family!

Wilbur is a Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog), weighs 50 lbs and was born approximately August of 2017. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
