Taos Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Billings, MT

Taos is approximately 2 months old and is a heeler mix. He was born in foster care on 12/9/18. A photo of his mom can be found here for reference. He'll be at least medium in size when full grown. We don't know his exact breed mix since we didn't see the dad(s) to the litter.

Heelers are very smart active dogs that need daily exercise and 'jobs' that challenge their minds. They are a working breed and are extremely loyal. They tend to not be best around very young children though as they do 'herd' them. He'll need an active heeler savvy family and plenty of outside play time.

Please do breed research before adopting any pup - make sure your type of home and lifestyle is the right fit for the activity level and needs of the particular breeds mentioned as a possible mix in our rescue pups.

Our puppy adoption fee is $150.00 each and our pups have been spayed/neutered, wormed, vaccinated for kennel cough and have received their first parvo/distemper shot. We require a fenced yard or if you live in the country safe acreage on your own land for exercise. Our dogs must be allowed in their family home and be allowed to sleep inside of the home at night. At adoption you will be required to complete and sign an adoption contract.
