Godiva is as sweet as chocolate. She loves to cuddle, kiss, and hug her foster parents. She is a very happy, outgoing girl who has no fear and enjoys rough housing with her two brothers, Nougat and Cadbury. Godiva is ready for a lifetime of adventures, walks, naps and snuggles. She is the type of pup that is curious, yet cautious. Godiva enjoys being around other dogs and loves kids of all ages. She has been working hard on potty training, and does a good job when she is kenneled. She needs a home with a big fenced yard so she can run & play as she grows. Do you need some sweet Godiva chocolate? She would love to have family to call her own.

Godiva is from our "Dozen Box of Chocolates" litter of 12; their dad Max (Chesapeake Bay/Chocolate Lab Retriever) was also rescued by Dolly's Legacy and provided with life-saving heartworm treatment, and their mom (Yellow Lab/mix) was provided with vetting & spay so that she will not have more pups. The pups were born 11-17-18 . They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick/heartworm preventative & dewormed. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs on the puppies as well as their puppy parents. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

TO ADOPT: The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. PLEASE be sure to answer all questions completely or it will delay processing, be sure to include vet phone#. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
