Meet Harvey

Harvey, a Black Mouth Cur, was rescued from Hurricane Harvey. Circumstances are preventing his owner from keeping him any longer. Harvey will be 2 in July . He is dog friendly, mostly housebroke - he does ask to go out. He sleeps in bed with his foster. He is good with kids-has been around children ages 3,5 and 10, and is ok with cats, He does good on leash, doesn't bark excessively, is not toy or food aggressive, doesn’t chew furniture, doesn’t dig outside He rides ok in the vehicle. Harvey was originally crated, but really didn't like it, he may just need some training and conditioning if you think that is something he needs. He likes to run around outside, but can be happy chilling too. He likes to swim in the pond. Harvey is a little afraid of fireworks-just needs to go inside, not to the point of hiding in a closet or under the bed. He does play hard with his foster sister dog. Harvey is neutered, current on vaccines, and micro chipped. Adoption fee is $135.
