RUBBLE Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Border Collie Mix Lincoln, NE

Rubble is an absolute sweetheart! He is a bit shy around new people but warms up fairly quickly. He loves to go outside and run and play with his brothers and sisters. Since he loves to run so much, a fenced yard is needed in his forever home. As much as he love to run outside he does great with coming inside and settling down. He likes it when his foster mom gives him ear scratches. He is starting to love to play with toys and discover how much fun they can be. He does great with the foster dogs in his house, big and small. He has not been around cats. He loves people of all ages and sizes. He does jump up on people some but he is easily corrected and is learning that this isn't allowed. He doesn't have the typical puppy-nips and is very polite. He is a smart boy and is treat motivated, he knows sit and is working hard at learning new tricks. He does great at night, he is kept in the kitchen at his foster home and is quiet all night. He is still a puppy and is working hard at potty training. This sweet boy has the biggest heart and is looking for a family that will teach what it means to be a part of a family and show him all of the love he deserves.

Rubble is part of our "Paw Patrol Pups" who are Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler/Border Collie mixes born 10-1-18. Rubble is a neutered male who weighed 19.8 at his vet visit on Jan 28th. He has been vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. PLEASE be sure to answer all questions completely or it will delay processing, be sure to include vet phone#. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
