Look for a partner in dog agility or fly ball? Zuma is your girl & is ready to learn all kinds of new tricks! Zuma is a bit of a shy girl around new people but once she gets used to you she is a fu- loving and bubbly little girl. She does well around people of all ages & has no fear around other dogs. She gets along great with all the dogs in her foster house, big and small. She loves to play with her brothers and sister and she is one tough little cookie, they never get the best of her. She is still a puppy so will need reinforcement in a new home on house training. Once this little sweetheart gets tired you can find her taking a little siesta in the closest dog bed. Zuma LOVES treats and will come running when she hears the treat bag. She has mastered sit and her foster mom is certain she will pick up more tricks quickly as she is very treat motivated. Miss Zuma loves to play with toys! Her favorite by far is tennis balls.....nothing in this world is more exciting than tennis balls! She also is quite the jumper, so mixed with her breed intelligence, she would make one amazing flyball competitor. This sweet little girl is looking for a family that will play, snuggle and teach her how wonderful a family of your own can be!

Zuma is part of our "Paw Patrol Pups" who are Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler/Border Collie mixes born 10-1-18. Zuma is a spayed female who weighed 19.3 at her vet visit on Jan 28th. She has been vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
