This handsome boy is Petey! He's a 2 year old Labrador Retriever Mix weighing in at 55 pounds. Petey is looking for a dog savvy and patient owner and a home without cats. Dogs might be okay, but he will need a proper introduction first. Petey can be timid until he knows you are a friend. Due to this, we recommend slow introductions with kids too. He might prefer a home with kids over 12 years.

Petey has so much love to give and is very loyal, but he has some "stranger danger" and likes to be introduced to new people at a slow pace when they enter into his home. Petey just wants to be sure his family is safe; once he knows the guest is a good person, he's ready to be their best friend!
