There is something about Red, a hound dog through and through, that makes us think of a good ole cowboy from the days of yore, smoking Marlboro Reds, before we knew they were bad for us, and ready to saddle up and head out on an adventure of any kind tailing closely by your heels and waiting to camp down at night and take in the big sky and stars above! Red is about 2 to 3 years old and weighs in at 50 lbs. The trails Red has been walking up until now have been scant on food so he is more than ready for some cowboy stew in droves to put on about 10 to 15 lbs and get up to his ideal weight. Red is everything is name suggests. He is a Walker Hound who sports a largely white coat with tan patches and spots here and there. He is all about his nose and the world around him and is not afraid to speak hound when he smells something good, but by and large is an easy going guy who just wants to learn about the finer things in life. Red is ready for suburbia. He is ready for soft beds, regular meals and leisurely walks around the neighborhood led by his nose. Kids, grandparents and neighbors would all be equally loved but he will never put in second the folks that finally show him how good life can be off the trail of being a stray!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.
