Dexter Kane Beagle Mix Houston, TX

Dexter Kane is a wonderful "honorary poodle" about 3 years old and 39 pounds. We think he has lots of beagle in him but we're not sure how much or what he's mixed with. We will never know because he was found as a stray running loose in the streets at a busy traffic and was brought to us by concerned citizens who feared for his safety.

When Dexter arrived, he tested positive for heartworm disease so he's been with us quite a while and we have gotten to know him well during his successful treatment. He has an affectionate, even temperament manifested in a personality that is very pleasant and pleasing. He is sturdily built and loves to run, jump and play. He does well with other dogs and loves people. Dexter will make a loyal pet and lifetime companion for the family or individuals who adopt him. All the dogs are healthy, spayed/neutered, current on shots, parasite / heart worm disease tested (and treated if positive). All dogs are microchipped, groomed and trained to use a doggie door.
