Meet Uno - Sweet Senior - Size XL
Sweet Uno was adopted from us as a kitten about ten years ago. He recently ended up in a high volume county shelter, very sad and confused. We took him into foster care as soon as we found out he was impounded. His previous owners were contacted but they never called back:( He needs a true forever home this time around. He still has many years to live and he has a ton of love to give. He is a sweet, huge boy and he is slowly coming out of his shell. He has a beautiful coat with spots, like a bengal! He is good with other kitties and nice, small dogs. He is very content to sit in his cat tree and he loves to be brushed. He is ultra laid back and low maintenance! He loves to rest in bathroom sinks and comfy beds. He uses his scratching posts very well. He will always be close!
We took Uno to see a veterinary eye specialist because one of his eyes turned brown since we had him as a kitten. The veterinarian said that this is likely due to melanoma in the eye. There is no way to tell for sure, but he will need vet visits every six months to monitor. Second Chance Pets can help with the costs.
The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats) which includes State of Texas sales tax. Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and return it to us for pre-approval. We do not have a phone number so please email us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com
