Meet Kovu! Kovu is a handsome ten month old male Shiba Inu / Chow Chow mix who was recently surrendered to our shelter! Staff has found Kovu to be very nervous and under socialized. Kovu thrives best with slow introductions to new people. He will benefit from an owner with much patience and time available who can help him learn to trust humans again. Time and patience will also be required for training and socialization. Staff feels Kovu can live with other dogs but may do best with a canine sibling who is active and very tolerant. Kovu does have some child restrictions. Please consider giving this handsome gent his second chance at furrever love and companionship!
