SHILO Mixed Breed Lincoln, NE

Shilo is a very sweet but very timid girl who is learning what it means to be loved. She is starting to come out of her shell at her foster home and needs a family that will continue to show her she is safe and loved. She is an absolute sweetheart that gets along with dogs of all sizes, she has occasionally grumbled at them when she has a treat but nothing more than that. She loves to play with toys and run around the back yard with the dogs in her foster house. She gets along with all people, young and old but is a bit timid at first. A patient, calm house would be best for her. She has not been around cats. She does well in her fosters fenced back yard. She is getting better on with a leash but still is a little nervous when out. It would be best for her to live where she has a secure fenced yard where she can run & play. She is doing great with potty training but she is still a puppy. She does kennel at night and is very quiet and doesn’t make any messes (other than pulling stuffing out of dog beds). Shilo is a true sweetheart and is looking for a family that can show how wonderful life can be.

Shilo is an All-American Rescue Mixed Breed, weighs 20 lbs and was born approximately 6-1-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $380 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
