Meet Chucky

Chucky is a young male bichon fostered in Northern VA, who is looking for an adult only home with a large fenced yard and another dog that Chuck can run and play with. Chuck’s vet guessed his age at 2 years when he came in to the shelter as a stray because he is so healthy and frisky. Chuck is doing very well at his new temporary home and is learning to love going on walks on a leash. He is still fearful of other animals and some people, unless they are another bichon or a squirrel, so it’s important he find a family that will keep up his socialization activities. Chuck is extremely food motivated and is working on some new commands like “Sit”. Chuck also will do best in a house where he can cuddle with his family a lot of the day…he loves to be in your lap whenever he is able to squeeze his way in!
