Lucy Labrador Retriever Mix League City, TX

Hi, I'm Lucy, a really sweet young dog who was found as a stray wandering the streets and my foster could not find my owner so here I am at SCP. I'm very active so I'm looking for an active family. I do well with other dogs, cats and older children. There are no small children at my foster's home, but she think I may be too active for them and might knock them over in play. I'll probably be 40-50 pounds when full grown so I'll be a large dog. My estimated DOB is 7/15/18 and I'm almost 30 pounds. I'll need a yard with a 6 foot fence because I'm already able to jump 4 feet without hardly trying. I'm housebroken and crate trained but prefer to be with my people. I'm still a young pup so you will need to continue my training to teach me how to walk properly on a leash, how to calmly meet new people and other obedience commands. I love to play fetch and tug of war and would love to learn agility or obedience or maybe even flyball. What fun we could have together! Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for this dog is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
