King you, King me, King everyone because no one will be anything but a winner after meeting, falling in love with and taking Checkers home forever. Aptly named, Checkers is super fun and engaging but quiet and totally NOT into puppy craziness, though we suspect he has a little of that mixed in with his old soul. Checkers is about 8 months old and weighs about 40lbs. Everything about Checkers is both fun and soft. He arrived, clearly not having a lot of confidence in himself but has made a load of friends at the farm, has become far more comfortable in his own skin and might just be the best puppy you could ever adopt. You ask why? Well, he is a total puppy and lap dog but is an old soul who does not need crazy exercise and engagement to be happy. He wanders around both alone and with others at the farm. He has shown himself to be pretty awesome in his crate and never complains or makes a lot of noise. He has an adorable brindle coat and is some mix perhaps between lab, hound and clearly something brindle. He would do wonderfully in a home with another dog and would also love some training activities and ways to build confidence to be the man he was totally made to be. King you and Checkers is yours!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.
