Maybelle is a 2 year old puppy mill survivor who is ready to have the good like in a family home. She has made great progress walking on leash but is still spooked easy and something of a flight risk. She is good with other dogs and has been fine around cats at the shelter.
She will need a sure secure large yard so she can play and run outside and to make potty training easier. Maybelle will do best with another friendly dog in the house to learn from.

Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills.

Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication that will be needed.

We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals.

*** This is why it is important that we introduce everyone in the home to the new pet. Please plan to have the whole family come visit.

*** We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs spayed or neutered, and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.

*** All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.


*** Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
