Meet BUTTERS

Butters....the Nutter Butter....Butter Bean...the Butter McFudder....Kitty McButters....our Butters has all sorts of silly nicknames because he's just that adorable! If you are looking for a feline friend to gaze into your eyes with pure devotion, look no further than our Butter Boy. He has such wisdom in his eyes, so many stories we know he wants to tell, he just needs a person ready & willing to listen. Butters was found as an abandoned kitty in the country with a terribly infected wound to his face, likely from a wildlife attack. He went to find refuge and begging for help to ease his suffering & pain, and ended up at just the right house, that of our rescue director. He was taken for immediate care & surgery to remove tissue that had died, making way for healing and a new start to life. Our Butters is shy, but oh so sweet. He loves to make biscuits with his adorable white paws as he leans in for pets on his head and praise for being such a good boy. He loves his canned food and kitty snacks, and thoroughly enjoys a good game of 'catch the mouse toy'. He has perfect litterbox manners. We can't say enough wonderful things about him. He will melt your heart as he has ours. Please watch his video story: https://youtu.be/50hBv9zc_w0

Butters is a neutered male Orange Tabby who weighs 11 lbs and is approximately 2 yrs old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and dewormed. Adoption fee is $120 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. For adoption guidelines and to submit an application, please go to this link:http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will receive a reply from dollyslegacyadoptions@gmail.com within a few days of application submission, please make sure to check your spam folder if you do not see a reply within a week. We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. PLEASE be sure to answer all questions completely or it will delay processing, be sure to include vet phone#. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information. If you have any questions please email dollyslegacyadoptions@gmail.com.
