JODY Hound & Boxer Mix Lincoln, NE

This gorgeous lady is Jody! She is an energetic girl who would love a home where she can go on lots of adventures. She would love an outdoorsy kind of person or family and would make a great jogging or walking partner. Jody loves every person she meets, greeting everyone with a cheerful face and wagging tail. She like to 'rough house' and doesn't realize she's no longer a tiny pup, so her 50 lb weight is a bit much for small children who aren’t old enough to give her a “down” command. She loves running in the snow and being invited for car rides. Most of all, Jody wants to feel loved. Her face lights up when you tell her she’s a good girl and she rewards you with a shower of kisses. She loves to snuggle and take naps next to her people. At night, she happily settles into her kennel and doesn’t make a sound until morning.

Jody is crate-trained and house trained and will give cues when she needs to go outside. She is a smart, treat-motivated girl, ready and willing to learn all kinds of wonderful tricks. She is quickly learning the rules of her foster home, will be more than willing to learn the rules of your home in exchange for a little love. Jody loves to rough house with other dogs and has a blast with her canine brother. She is being fostered around cats and is not threatening toward them at all, but she tries to engage them in play so a home with confident, playful kitties would be fine. Jody is excited to discover who her forever family will be so she can start the next chapter of her life. This girl has so much love to give and needs someone to give it to.

Jody is a Hound/Boxer mix born approximately 6-2-17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative and dewormed. Adoption fee is $350. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference, home ownership & fenced yard. Home ownership is verified through court records.
