============================================================

Got a lap? Need a dog to fill it? CeCe is the one! Ms. CeCe is ready for her forever home! She is one SUPER devoted little girl - an available lap is her number one adoption request. In true Chi style, CeCe is a bit vocal and needs to make sure that you're worthy of her affection. Once the introduction is made and the lap approved it's over the top love and all out commitment to the relationship. She likes both men and women equally but would prefer to not share her home with other dogs that can take up her chosen one's lap space. She is super cute and a funny, fun little dog. GOT A LAP? CeCe wants to know!

CeCe is a Chi/French Bull Dog mix hailing to us from the Cleveland City kennel. Coming to us on January 1st she was in very bad condition and languished for weeks BUT since coming into rescue CeCe has gotten strong and healthy. CeCe is about 5 years old and weighs about 10 pounds and that lap I mentioned - is always occupied by this little girl.

CeCe is fine with other dogs and cats but not fond of others that want to share her person's lap. She lives with dogs in rescue but in her forever home she would prefer to be the one and only lap dog. CeCe has luxtating lenses and has some vision impairment so we will not place her where she would be living everyday with children.

CeCe is leash, crate, and house trained. She is good about going when you ask her to go out and goes regardless of time or weather. Yes, she even goes out in the rain!.

CeCe does not play with toys but is overly affectionate and devoted and did I mention the lap? CeCe snuggles in bed, is fine in the car or where ever it is you are. She is one super devoted little dog. CeCe is fairly vocal so having her announce a new comer - maybe to the extreme - is something that will need to be tolerated. She doesn't bark at all in the home otherwise. CeCe has a spunky personality and an over the top devotion to her person....

CeCe's adoption requirements are a fenced yard or small fenced area in your yard that leads directly into the house. (CeCe loves to lounge in the sun), someone who is not gone a typical 8 hour work day; someone that works from home, works very part time or is retired. CeCe can live with another dog but is not nice if she has to share her lap. She does love children but I don't feel can be trusted 100% with them so there should be no children in the home and children that visit should be monitored. CeCe is totally quiet in her crate so she could be crated when there are children visiting. CeCe came to us in a very depleted state so it is required that she stay on a true raw diet with a few supplements. We can discuss that further...

Star-Mar Rescue is a natural care provider and strives to place our dogs in homes that are already on a natural care program or are eager to learn. We use no chemicals on our dogs, no commercial flea products (oral or topical), do blood titers instead of randomly vaccinating. Our yards are without fertilizer and weed killer and our homes are toxin free. We feel that dogs can be protected without being harmed by harsh chemicals and unnecessary vaccinations and do best on a species appropriate, no grain, raw diet. Frozen raw diets, freeze dried or dehydrated no grain. Raw, no grain foods are easily gotten at many pet stores and on line and are no more expensive than a high quality dry food. This simple step will provide your dog the nutrition needed to keep them healthy and happy for many years unlike feeding a lifetime of processed foods. We are happy to help with this transition.

We are happy to talk with you about caring for your dogs in a way that helps to keep them disease free long into their senior years, through their teens and even into their 20's. We are convinced that removing unnecessary drugs and feeding a species appropriate diet, adds years to our dogs' lives. Join millions of dog owners who are learning to protect their dogs using healthy, immune building care methods that will keep your companion vital for many years. You can go to Star-Mar Rescue Natural Care facebook page to learn more about natural care. Click on "videos" on the left of the home page and watch the series The Truth About Pet Cancer. It will give you a lot of information about natural care and why it is so necessary for our dogs' health. Go to Star-Mar Rescue facebook page to learn more about our organization.
