RIVER Chocolate Labrador Retriever & Pointer Mix Lincoln, NE

River is gentle and sweet; perfect to balance out her sister's outgoing personality. She knows commands of 'sit, fetch, down' and LOVES to swim. She likes to explore too, but only after it is deemed safe. River likes to tag along with the other dogs and enjoy cuddletime with her sister and foster family. She likes toys and takes them to her kennel and enjoys chewing bones and wagging her tail. River has lived with a family with children and loves them.

River and her siblings were rescued after being found as tiny pups stuffed into a cardboard box and abandoned at a city park in Southern Oklahoma. They came to Dolly's Legacy looking to find a better life where they will never again go unloved. We are proud to be a part of their journey to find the forever families they deserve. She lived the first year and a half with her sister, Luna, but the adopters are unable to keep them, so we are looking for a home for each of them so they can have a family of their own.

River is a Pointer/Chocolate Lab/mix pup who weighs 60 lbs and was born approximately 3/3/17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative and dewormed. Adoption fee is $250. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference, home ownership & fenced yard, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
