Hi! I’m Bitsy! I’m a 3 year terrier mix and currently looking for my forever home! I'm 17 lbs of happy dog!

I love to play and I'm full of energy. I will fit into your family from the first moment. I have not shown any sign of fear or dislike of any one and I welcome new people with a waggle tail. I am still fearful of bicyclists and will bark and growl at them. I loves tummy rubs, dog park visits, squeaky toys, and treats.

All I want is someone who I can give love to and they’ll give it right back. I’m good with other dogs and cats even! Although I’m a sweet dog, I do ask that you give me time to warm up to you. I also don’t like my back half being pet until I know you. I’m really big on trust. My foster family gave me 2 whole days to get use to my surroundings without them trying to pet me a ton. I eventually realized that they were good people and one day I jumped up beside them on the bed. I’ve never left their side since. My foster mom says I’m the sweetest baby and so funny now that I allow myself to actually be myself.

I'm fully vetted and just recently got spayed! Did I mention I’m house trained!? Although my foster family has me sleep in a kennel and be kenneled when they leave, I believe I’d be fine left alone at home. I also love sleeping with my humans, so I’d be fine out at night as well. My foster mom says I’m amazing in the kennel though and since I just snuggle on into my blankets, she doesn’t think I mind it one bit!

I know it might take some time to get to know you, and I hope you understand it might take some time to get to know me as well. But with time and patience, I can promise to be your best friend. I look forward to meeting you!!
