Meet William

William is a happy, funny guy who spent his entire 8 years in a commercial breeding facility. He is quickly discovering the joys of living in a warm home, with toys, soft beds, and human attention. William is crate trained and seems to enjoy riding in the car, although he is not yet leash trained or house trained. His foster family is working to teach him good indoor habits and he seems to be picking up on the lessons quickly.

William loves to spend time outdoors wandering around the yard and sniffing out all the spots where critters could hide. He is initiating play with his canine foster brothers and would learn many valuable skills from having a 4-legged brother or sister.

The ideal home for William will be patient and accepting of his Scottie "quirks". A fenced yard and a resident dog are absolute requirements for his new home, and we suggest that his new home have no children under the age of 8.

Suggested adoption donation for William is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note: invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.
