Hi! My name is Clyde. I came to the shelter with my sister, Bonnie, on September 13th. I was 8-weeks-old at that time. When I arrived at the shelter, I was very thin and weak. My foster parents don't think I had ever had a soft place to sleep, or even been fed regular cat food since I didn't know what either of those things were. The first thing I did when I got to my foster home was curl up for a nap in my litter box.....I now understand that's not what it was for. My foster mom put a special blanket down on the floor for me so I could sleep there instead. I started purring as soon as I stepped on the blanket and immediately curled up to take a nap. My foster mom also put some food in a dish for me. I didn't really know what it was at first, but I learned quickly that I LOVE food!! I put on some weight now and have super soft fur. I use my litter box like a pro and I absolutely love people! I will sometimes start purring when someone comes in the room, even if they haven't started petting me yet. When I get sleepy, my favorite thing to do is lay in your arms like a baby and have you rub my belly. When I'm awake though, I like to make people laugh with my funny antics. I am a goofy kitten with a fun loving personality. I love playing with toys and I especially loved playing with my sister! I am happy to report that my sister has been adopted, but I am sad that this leaves me without a kitty friend to play with. It has become obvious that I will need to be adopted with another feline, or to a home that already has a cat or two that would like to play with me and become my new forever feline friend. Without a cat-buddy around I tend to get into mischief. If you are looking for a best friend for your current cat and a wonderful companion for you, I may be the perfect choice!
