Meet Sherman
Meet Sherman.
Sherman is happy, stunning, massive, boisterous and beautiful black dane weighing in at 153 lbs of nothing but love. He is exuberant and happy, pushy and sweet, all at the same time.
He has A LOT of energy. He's never met a human stranger. He's the type that could walk into a room full of strangers and just start gabbing away.
Sherman will need to be a solo dog. He needs a dane savvy person/family to lay down the law with him, as he can play rough and he can protect/guard. You need to be able to read his signals. Sherman can be possessive over his humans.
He would be perfect for an active, dane savvy family that has older children - as he is a bit clumsy and needs some manners - that will be willing to keep up his exercise and work on manners and listening. Because of his size, he could easily, and unintentionally, knock a toddler over without even noticing it. He is VERY exuberant and clumsy, we will only adopt Sherman out to an older child household, because of that.
Sherman needs some manners and training but will be an excellent companion for a dane-savvy, active family who needs a horse-sized new best friend.
ABSOLUTELY NO CATS FOR SHERMAN. They are a fun game to him. He is obsessed over them, and fixates. So NO CATS truly means NO CATS.
Sherman is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped.
Sherman's adoption fee is $300. To apply to adopt Sherman go to www.nwflgdr.com/adoption.html.
