Meet Taffy

Please do not inquire or apply through Petfinder. Please apply directly with bigdogrescueproject.org/adopt. Dogs will be transported from Texas upon approved match.

Our adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping and transport expenses.

This precious little girl is a little over 8 weeks old. She and her siblings were brought into the Longview, Tx shelter in a bucket at 6 weeks old without their mom. We believe they are samoyed/husky/golden mixes. She has blue eyes, and we originally thought that she had some vision issues. However, she went to a vision specialist who says that her eyes are developing a little slower (which is apparently normal for blue-eye dogs) but that she is expected to have normal vision.

Puppies need someone with the time, energy and patience for house-training and basic obedience.

Puppies under 6 months of age are adopted out on a spay/neuter contract. The adopter is responsible for the expense of alteration and must provide records to BDRP that their adopted pet has been altered. We recommend alteration at 6 months of age.

Adoption fee is $425 to help offset travel and medical expenses.
