Meet Lulu

Lulu is a happy, very active one-year-old female Newfoundland! Lulu LOVES toys that squeak! She can often be found insistently squeaking whatever toys she can find throughout the rooms in her foster home. She also enjoys playing fetch. She gets a bit obsessed with some toys in particular, so her foster home keeps her fetch sessions short so she doesn't get herself too worked up. Lulu would do especially well with dog sports like nose work and barn hunt!

The Perfect Home for Lulu...

Priority placement for Lulu will go to a family having no children, or one with children aged 10+. Her adoptive family should be willing to use a crate for her during her transition period (she is very comfortable in a crate and has never had a potty accident in one). They should also have a secure, physical barrier fence, at least four feet tall. If her adoptive family has another dog, it should be an established adult dog, at least 3 years old who has lived with the family for at least a year. There should be no cats in the home.

Additionally, applications for Lulu coming from outside of our five-state coverage area (Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin) will not be considered.

Adoption fees vary depending on the dog, but range from $300-$600.
