Sweet Pea- angel!!! Kuvasz Rockport, IN

What a magnificent Guardian dog. We do believe Sweet Pea to be a Livestock Guardian breed as her physical type and personal attributes point to those behaviors. Sweet Pea is such a fun, goofy girl during the day and a serious, guardian at night. She personally likes to place herself in the horse pasture at night and lets coyote packs know, "she's in the area." She was a HurricaneHarvey dog, rush up to us before the Hurricane hit last year. We have put her on the back burner due to her neglected body condition and to allow her time to assimilate and mature. Her time with us has been nothing less than spectacular, not a mean bone in her body, but she does protect her farm from intruders, 4 legged, particularly. She loves people and thinks they are all here for her. Sweet Pea has apparently been an inside dog as she LOVES the couch and appears to be housetrained. Please gove this girl a chance. You will not regret it!!!

Our adoption fee is a $180 non-refundable donation which includes:

We do not adopt out any dog as housebroken. Housebreaking your new pet is an important part of the bonding process and is a necessary commitment for a successful transition. Those first few weeks in your home are when your new dog learns to trust and respect you, as his person. When adopting make sure you have thought out a potty training routine ahead of time, before bringing a new dog into your home. We do reserve the right to inspect the home to ensure there will not be any conflicts or issues that could result in an unsuccessful introduction to the family. In addition you may rest assured that every dog offered to the public for adoption by All American Dawgs has been handled and under direct guidance of our personnel for no less than 30 days. This time period is necessary to assess each pet, individually, for health issues and individual behavior before they go to new homes. Each and every dog, during this period, will get regular exercise via pack walks through the countryside and regular direction in basic manners while learning extremely necessary socialization skills. Our goal is to bridge committed adopters to good minded companions and this is accomplished by helping rescue dogs learn the basic skills necessary for that next step, your family.

Adopters must meet and spend time with their newly adopted dog via a scheduled Meet and Greet here at All American Dawgs in Rockport, Indiana. We do not ship our dogs under any circumstances as they are members of our family and their safety is Priority # 1.
