Meet Sugar
Sugar is a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd/Pyrenees mix! She between 1 and 2 years old and weighs in at about 70 lbs, but could stand to put a few more on.
This sweetheart was out of time in Topeka after being turned in because she was too big and clumsy for a family’s 18 month old baby.
The good news is, she’s been saved and is basically hitting the jackpot for a family looking to adopt! Sugar is an absolute DREAM in her kennel, walks well on leash, comes when called (even though we just gave her the name Sugar a day ago), is great with other dogs and LOVES her people! We aren’t sure if she’s house trained yet as she’s had a couple accidents, but it could just be the new environment. She also knows basic commands already.
Sugar is a low energy gal that just loves to be loved. She is timid when around new males, but a milk bone and a few head pats will win her over for life.
