Chelsea Shiba Inu & Chow Chow Mix Lancaster, PA

Chelsea is a cheeky 6 year old, spayed, chow/shiba mix! She tops the scales at 40 pounds! Chelsea is housebroken and crated trained. She enjoys the company of other dogs, as well as cats and true to her breed, Chelsea tends to be non-reactive around other dogs and simply moves away if disinterested. After several weeks in her foster home, Chelsea enjoys playing with her foster brothers, going for walks and lounging out in the yard.

Chelsea was not socialized properly in her previous life so we are recommending a home with older children who understand how to interact with dogs. Chelsea loves meeting neighborhood children on walks, and getting pets but can become upset if she’s pushed/pulled or forced to do something that frightens her. Because of this behavior, she can be difficult to handle when going in for veterinary visits and her new family should be willing to work with and understand this.

While NOT being a “Velcro” dog, Chelsea loves being pet, brushed and generally doted upon! She loves to be with her person and often follows her foster mom room to room. Please consider adoption Chelsea today!
