Meet Buddy

Akita savvy folks listen up! Buddy is a one year old old male Akita who recently arrived at our shelter from a neglectful background where he was very under socialized. Buddy’s previous owner did not first do breed research before adopting him. Buddy is working on learning to trust humans. Buddy is very trainable and very treat motivated. Since arriving at our shelter he has learned the sit and paw commands! We are searching for an Akita savvy/Akita experienced foster or foster to adopt. A home with no dogs, cats or human kiddos is required for Buddy. Also much time and patience will be needed to socialize and train this furry friend. Buddy quite simply needs to learn how to be a dog and learn to trust people again.
