Meet Ruger

Ruger is 13 years old beagle mix. He is very sweet, but will require a special home. He will snuggle on the couch with you, and loves to go for a walk but tires quickly cause of his short little legs. Unfortunately, Ruger is food aggressive with people and dogs and will need to be fed separate. He loves to have his kennel door open cause that is his safe space, but is extreamly protective of it and will bite if you try to reach in there. For this reason we recommend no children in the home. Ruger also has kidney disease and because of this he can not hold his urine very well and will have to be on a special food for the rest of his life. He likes other dogs and cats when there is no food around. Ruger is neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $135.
