Meet Chief

This is Chief, a 21 month-old male bloodhound, who came to WBHR because of needing a fenced yard. His nose gets the best of him! Chief weighs around 85#, is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccinations. He is also housetrained and does well with other dogs and people. He is fine with cats, but will chase them if they run. Chief likes to play fetch and he is still very much a puppy. He will need a home with a strong leader and plenty of exercise. Chief would be best in a home with older kids, Middle School age or older. He can be possessive of toys at times, so we believe it would be best that he not be in a home with small children.
