Meet Aliyah
Alia, a 4 year old, Anatolian Shepherd is in great need of a family who will take care of her and love her in a forever home. She was seized by the Houston Animal Society as a result of cruelty. She was kept outside and never given flea prevention nor heartworm medication. Luckily, Alia is heartworm negative but she does have flea allergy dermatitis that is improving now that she has been treated. Anatolians are very strong, independent and are leary of strangers. They are very loyal to their families and will make an amazing guard dog in a home with a strong leader. Be sure you can give her this kind of home so that it is indeed a forever place for her. She is desperately looking for kindness and stability. Alia is good with dogs and cats and is house trained but indoor living is still new and scary for her. Come take a look.
