Meet Monty
What’s up everybody, my name is Monty! I am a 33 lb Shepherd mix and I am around five years old. My fosters are still learning about me, but they say I am a very good boy!
I am good with other dogs and kids, but haven’t been around cats so I’m not sure about that yet! I can be slow to warm up, so a proper, slow introduction will be important if you do have other pets or small children. I am pretty good on a leash (I still need to be reminded not to pull) and I would love to go on walks with my forever family! I am working on some commands but I already know “sit,” “shake,” and “come here,” and I am eager to learn more. I love to please my people! My favorite thing is to just lay there and be pet, and I will remind you of that by gently swatting you with my paw. Also you wanna know an awesome bonus? I am already house trained AND crate trained! What’s not to love??
